In order to tame a creature, one can approach it and select the "tame" prompt. Alternatively, a creature can be tamed at range by aiming-down-sights with either an iron or reflex sight. A firearm with a scope that has a zoom magnification will not work.

This event takes place at the Wild West Showdown attraction at Nuka-World on Tour in the Ash Heap, hosted by Gunther Jenkins. The participants must speak to Gunther to start the event, after which a short countdown timer to prepare for the event will start.

Foxes are present in most of our woods, but your best chance of seeing one may well be in a town or city. Urban foxes often become accustomed to humans, allowing you to get good views. Rural foxes tend to be much warier and are harder to see.

If you want to, yes; lots of people feed foxes, either regularly or occasionally, and get a great deal of enjoyment from doing so, but please be aware they are wild animals - feed and watch them, but don't try and tame them.

How do you find the fox den? ›

Foxes make their dens in a variety of ways. Sometimes it is a deserted badger hole in the ground or hillside, a rock outcropping with cave characteristics, a hollowed out tree trunk etc. Many times these dens will have telltale bones laying around the entrance to the den accompanied by a foul smell.

A fox den may be underground, in a cave, among rocks, or in a hollow log or tree. Foxes will dig their own dens or modify burrows abandoned by other animals. An underground den may be as long as 75 feet and have several entrances.

If the player character's Karma is too low, or if they fire him at any time, Fawkes can be later found wandering around the entrance to Underworld in the Museum of History. Fawkes may also return if left on his own for a significant length of time.
